I've never dealt with the Polish Nikon Service personally, only via phone or questions on their webpage.
I've contacted them three times about distortion. I thought it was unacceptably large, presented pctures but have been told that the lens was perfec, very sharp and the distrtion was ok. In addition to that, I got some tips on setting because I complained about focusing in darker conditions. Recently I have been offered sending my gear for a check-up but, as a frequent Nikon forum reader, I was anxious.
Thats not a normal attitude, but I'd rather use my camera with a slight disfunction than take calming down medicaments and worry about gear that cost me quite a fortune.

PS. I would like to get in touch wich European and Japanese headquaters myself (I've done something like this with Daewoo and it worked quite well).
I have a feeling I might be having some problems with my D700, but I will never ever send it to Warsaw, after what I've read on the internet. Thats why I need to know the Nikon Polska structure, who runs it, is it a separate company or a part of Nikon company etc.
If someone knows any personal data of people running Nikon Polska, could You please get in touch with me?
