Bodies I hereby would like to describe my struggle with the Nikon Service, what they have done makes me scream in fury.

One day, when I was on holiday by our polish sea, after taking a few pictures, I went back to my hotel, turned my laptop on, uploaded photos and found out they were all absolutely pink. My first thought was that I must have messed up all the settings. But a common sense brought a reflection, that I wuold have to mess a lot to make them this bad. I thought a reset would straighten it up, but it didn't. So it started coming to me that probably the sensor was gone. That looks like the end of my holiday (3rd day), I took my car and went to Warsaw to Postepu street. There I was told that they had to diagnose the fault and it was impossible to do it straight away. They asked me to come back within 48 hours. I couldn't do that so I left them my phone number and begged for an immediate reaction.

I went back to Swinoujscie, a day passed, two, three, a week. I went back home, rang up the service (after approx 35th attempt). A lady tells me that my camera hasn't been diagnosed yet!! So I asked how come? She didn't know but she promissed to speed it up. I thought 'ok, she'll do it'. Rang them up 3 days later (approx. 30 unsuccesfull attempts). A guy this time told me that there still was no reply from the workshop section. He also assured me that he would speed it up. After 6 days I still had no information whatsoever. After 15th attempt to ring them, another lady told me my camera was all ready to be shipped back to me. I was impressed. After about 3 weeks (shipped from Easter Islands or what?) a courier knocked on my door. Happy as a kid I went straight to my balcony to take some test shots. I couldn't believe what I saw. Only half of the screen worked. No words can describe what I felt then. I rang up the service and after 20th attempt a polite guy told me that he couldn't diagnose the fault over the phone and asked me to send the camera to them. So I did. After 15 days there was no response, although I asked for an immediate contact once the fault had been diagnosed. And suddenly, a guy said, that the service worker found previous repair receipt of my D700 which stated everything was fine. He blamed the courier and invoiced me for 869 PLN. I don't even want to try to describe my emotions at that time. The guy informed me that I should have opened the parcel when the courier was still there, took some sample shots and make a damage report. That was too much for me. I exploded: 'Maybe I was also supposed to have a photoshoot with the courier, make him a cup of coffe and watch the pictures together???' and then hang up. Few hours later I rang them back (28th attempt) and asked for their bank account number too pay for the repair and also an exact fault and repair description. The camera came back to me today in fully working order, with a full fault and repair description attached. I will probably sue them in court.
I wanted to share it a long time ago but I was waiting for all this to end. I didn't expect it to be this miserable.
What do You think about sending an appeal to Nikon Japan telling how our service works. Our forum is the only official Nikon in over 30 milion country, so...?
