I bought my D80 and after some time I noticed that there was a focusing issue, the camera had a Back Focusing problem. And please believe me, I don't exaggerate. I graduated a photographic school, worked as a pro photographer and now I sometimes earn some money on photography. If I didn't see the problem, I wouldn't do anything about it. Some time later I bought another lens. When I plugged it (and other lens - 4 in total) into the camera body I found out they all had a massive Front Focus. The camera was shipped to the service because it only worked fine with one lens. At a photo taken from about 4m distance, the focus point was about 30-50cm in front of the object. They held it for another month and wrote that the camera was fine and the customer's demands were too high. A seller at the shop where I bought it, suggested that I should buy a D200. It pissed me right off. Since that I submit that the camera is calibrated for one lens only and I am saving money for a new one, definitely not a Nikon this time.
